Hello Everyone. Just wanted to wish everyone happy holidays and Merry Christmas, Feliz Natal to all my Brazilian friends. This year I'm not having a traditional Christmas I usually have back home in Georgia with my friends and family. I decided to stay in Florida since I'm a week away from the fight and I didnt want to risk getting sick by going through airports and weather changes and flights etc. So it's just me and my bro here in south florida, our dad is here too but has to be on call, I'll probably end up going to see the Sherlock Holms at the theatre. As for anyone wondering if i got anything cool, hell yeah i did. Micah got me this old school Michaelangelo figurine, back when all the turtles had red headbands... i think bandai makes it or something and next to him is Antonio Minotauro Nogueira(one of my idols). I know im 25 and still am getting toys and action figures. What can i say, I know what i like. But happy holidays everyone see you in Las Vegas Jan 2nd. stay tuned for more.

I beat the first guy from germany with a collar choke quickly, the 2nd match i fought abu dhabi competitor/ european trial winner from france Nick Reiner by points. the 3rd match i fought an american from american top team in boston, matt scott(purple belt),...great match i won by one point with 20 seconds left with a pass...great competitor. the final was against switzerland and i was deducted two points for pulling guard twice i put the guy in a triangle and it wasnt choking him because his head was almost out so i started switching to the armbar and about the 30 second mark left in the match his arm started popping...great competitor he was really tough. the rules were a little weird , you get -1 for pulling guard...you get 0 points for a sweep, and nothing for submission attemts ....0 points for knee on belly , 3 points for mount , 2 points for a pass, and 4 points for a back mount. the rules are really made for wrestlers and not jiu jitsu guys they should change them a bit i think.....had the points been under bjj rules i would have won by greater margin in my other bouts and wouldve won by advantage in the final...but thats how the cookie crumbles, i didnt want to spend too much time wrestling on the feet with my ufc bout coming up so i either pulled guard or let my opponent pull guard. all in all it was a good tournament though. thanks to team usa who won mens and womens divisions, and thanks to american top team and the people at usa wrestling and FILA. below is a link of my first match.

ben saunders knocked out an experienced veteran in marcus "the irish hand grenade" davis tonight at UFC 106. way to represent american top team ben. it was clear that ben had the size and reach advantage as davis was trying to rush him and get on the inside. unfortunately for marcus, ben's thai clinch is one of the best in the business as he used devastating knees to finish his opponent.

Way to rebound ben, just a few wins away from jumping back into contention.

I hope everyone tries to catch the UFC this weekend. It looks to be an awesome card. I think i may be watching it in philadelphia, ill try to get predictions back up here like i used to. training is coming along great as im finally starting to get back into it pretty hard. be sure to get the new UFC round 2 trading card set at topps.com or toywiz.com. the only thing wrong with it is that topps or the ufc messed up bad and put 3-2-1 as my record :(. but other than that i guess everything seems to be correct lol.
